"Accuracy = Attitude = Aman Thapa". Day 3 at Accuracy Paragliding Pre -World Cup at Dharamsala.




As the sun cast its golden glow over the Dhauladhar peaks on the 16th of November 2023, the third day of the Accuracy Paragliding Pre-World Cup unfolded in Narwana, Dharamsala.


Para-gliders from nine countries continued their pursuit of precision in the skies after completing six rounds in the individual, team, and ladies categories. The day's competitions showcased remarkable feats, with Aman Thapa from Nepal leaving an indelible mark on the event. “Accuracy is not just a skill ; it's an attitude.” -Aman Thapa from Nepal proved it with perfect landing at Day 3 of Accuracy Paragliding Pre-World Cup in Dharamsala as he reclaimed the spotlight in the individual category, securing the first-place position with a remarkable overall score of 8. His exceptional performance included a perfect landing in round 6, earning him a score of 0.


Akshay Kumar from India demonstrated skill and determination, securing the second position with a score of 43. Yog Raj, another Indian participant, claimed the third spot with a commendable score of 52.


The individual category witnessed intense competition and a showcase of remarkable precision in the challenging paragliding course.


In the ladies category, Taranum Thakur from India continued her winning streak, securing the first position with grace and skill. Swapna Kumari Malo, another talented participant from India, claimed the second spot, while Polina Prich from Australia secured the third position. The ladies category once again celebrated the strength, agility, and fearlessness of female para-gliders. Lady paragliders perfectly proved these lines - "Like a bird, women are born to fly. Embrace the wind, conquer the sky."


The team category continued to be dominated by Akash Adventure and Antigravity, securing the first three spots. The teams showcased exceptional coordination and teamwork throughout the six rounds, solidifying their positions at the top of the leaderboard. The team category highlighted not only individual skills but also the importance of collaboration in navigating the complexities of the paragliding course.


As the day's competitions concluded, the event transitioned into a cultural extravaganza. Participants and spectators alike were treated to a display of traditional Himachali, Gurkhali, and Tibetan songs and dances. The cultural performances, set against the backdrop of the majestic mountains, added an extra layer of vibrancy and celebration to the event, fostering a sense of unity and shared joy.



Day 3 of the Accuracy Paragliding Pre-World Cup in Dharamsala was a testament to the skill, determination, and international camaraderie of the participants.
